Backcourt Badminton Footwork

Guest Wang Feng's Weakness:
Coach Zhao points out that when the shuttle is hit to the rear court (Position A), Feng's shots become uncomfortable and non-threatening.

Coach Zhao Jianhua's Solution:
Coach Zhao suggests two sets of footwork to improve Feng's speed:
- Take a side step toward the rear corner and then jump to intercept the shuttle at a high contact point.
- As an alternative to jumping, replace the jump with a shuttle step.

Backcourt Backhand Badminton Technique

Guest Wang Feng's Weakness:
Feng feels that he is not able to generate power on a backhand.

Coach Zhao Jianhua's Solution:
Coach Zhao agrees that backhand shots are generally difficult and should be avoided if possible. He instructs Feng on how to swing the racket so that generated power is concentrated and fully transfered to the shuttle.
