Doubles Tactics (2) Service and Service-Return Formations in Badminton Doubles

In this beginner-intermediate badminton training video, Coach Chen Weihua goes over doubles service and service-return formations. Doubles play is not only about technique and physical abilities. It's also about how well you and your partner work together. First we have to understand doubles positioning before proceeding into doubles play. Depending on your opponent's serving habits, adjust your return positioning i.e. stand more towards a certain side or more towards the front or back. Likewise, depending on your opponent's return positioning habits, adjust your service positioning and the height and angles of your serve.
